A very happy new year to all! ^^v How has 2007 been for you so far?
It couldn't have gotten off to a better start here. Dad on the lottery, and I get a new monitor screen as a result. Plus, Urawa Reds completed the double by beating Gamba Osaka again in the Emperor's Cup final. I don't know how these two things can be linked together, but those are the two main reasons why the year has gotten off to a great start for me.
However, let's also remember that while we're all happy celebrating and having fun, there are people who derive satisfaction and enjoyment by causing destruction and malice while the rest of the world lets its hair (and guard) down. Let's extend a prayer to all those who were affected by the Bangokok bombings last night.
With 2006 ending on such a note, I think 2007 will definitely be an interesting year ahead. Hopefully in the good sense, of course.
