The Keys to Your Heart

You are attracted to those who are unbridled, untrammeled, and free.

In love, you feel the most alive when your partner is patient and never willing to give up on you.

You'd like to your lover to think you are stylish and alluring.

You would be forced to break up with someone who was emotional, moody, and difficult to please.

Your ideal relationship is lasting. You want a relationship that looks to the future... one you can grow with.

Your risk of cheating is zero. You care about society and morality. You would never break a commitment.

You think of marriage as something precious. You'll treasure marriage and treat it as sacred.

In this moment, you think of love as something you can get or discard anytime. You're feeling self centered.

Now I'm REALLY bored.

My boarding pass. The key back home! And not to mention to some work moving luggages as well.

But that doesn't matter, it means I still get to return home!

dinner

This was my buffet dinner on the last night of the trip. A far cry from camp food and combat rations of course. If you can't look beyong the mish-mash on the plate, there's rice and pasta, spicy chicken slices, deep fried fish, beef and some vegetables.

But as if you really wanted to know what goes into my stomach anyway.

These guys are supposedly the water taxi drivers in the capital. However they come across more like professional boat racers to me with their high speed antics. These guys can duck under bridges and negotiate traffic with ease. And some with a cigarette in hand.

ouch!

That is the biggest syringe and needle I've ever seen in my entire life. By a long way too.

Injection anybody?

My buddy! Looking a bit tired and sian though. After a hard day's worth of shopping of course.

But I think we all ought to grow our hair quicker. We look like crap now.

isn't it a bit too much?

That's the father's mosque again, but I managed to take in some of the fountains as well.

These guys sure are rich. Who wants to be an oil magnate?

This mosque was built by the Sultan's father. Looks more shiny than the Sultan's mosque though. And it's right by the river, which makes it all the more picturistic.

all that glitters is REALLY gold

This is the mosque built by the current Sultan of Brunei. And yes those domes are real 24K gold. In fact you'd be hard pressed to find something not made of gold inside.

Was trying to show the mess in the bunk but he had to come in and show his weird face!

Don't take pictures of me! I look like crap and I don't like being shot at! Yes I'm SHY!

It's a room with a view! Sounds great yes?

But take note that this room is also incredibly cramped, stuffy and sometimes infested with insects too. It's not the holiday camp that it tries to make itself out to be sadly.

the dungeon

This is where I spent some of my days sleeping in. I wonder how people can actually tolerate living in such conditions.

But then again when you have a place to rest, you can't really complain can you?

back from a long holiday

Well HOLIDAY MY ASS! I was in Brunei for the past 3 weeks if memory serves you well enough.

Took a few pictures while I was at it though. Enjoy.
