just some thoughts before i forget about them

AHS forum is back after a server switch that took about a day and a half to complete. Benny is a very happy person. (*^.^*)

evolution105-san from the forum just completed work on a trilogy that he had been working on for 3 years. Can you imagine, writing away for 3 years about the same ideas and storyline? Most people would have given up 3 days into it I think. He's also working on a few poems and another short story now. Keep up the good work, and I hope to see some of your works on the shelves in bookstores soon!

Which brings me back to my own little project...it seems to be going ahead very slowly at the moment. But now's not the time for heads to drop, let's continue to work hard, I'm sure something good will come out of it! 頑張りましょう!

And also, alternarist-san (a fellow Singaporean I might add) returned from an overseas trip to teach English to the kids in Khao Lak, Thailand. He showed quite a few of the pictures he had taken during his time there, and I must say it was quite an eye-opener, especially the photos taken at a makeshift mortuary for the victims of the tsunami 2 years ago. Yes, quite a few of these bodies haven't been collected/acknowledged still, and they were being kept in ice-filled containers. I don't think words can describe the very strange feeling that one gets when he/she sees containers upon containers of dead bodies, it's very surreal.

A few years ago, I probably wouldn't have cared much about these things though, but I guess the things that have happened during this time has opened my eyes and made me rethink about things that I thought weren't important to me.

Eh? Suddenly this has become another of those posts about self-reflection. Strange.
